2006 Senior National Team Member - Ranked 5th All Around
2004 Junior Pan American Championships, El Salvador
Juliana Semenova, our Junior Canadian Champion, Coach,
Megan Arnold and Judge, BB Ignatova traveled to El Salvador
October 12-17 for the 2004 Junior Pan American Championships
in San Salvador, El Salvador. Juliana ranked 3rd All
Around out of 35 athletes from all of the participating
Pan American countries (just .1 behind the 2nd Placed athlete
from the US). Juliana qualified for all 4 finals and received
a silver medal for her outstanding clubs performance.
In the team competition Canada won the silver medal
with Juliana's scores leading the team to their silver medal
finish. Juliana competed in the previous Junior Pan Am Championships
in 2001 held in Santo Domingo as a member of the Academy's
National Champion Junior Group where she and her group placed
2nd, now, this time around Juliana competed as an individual
athlete and the only athlete lucky enough to have participated
in 2 Junior Pan Am Championships.
