Dear Friends of Millennium Cup,
Welcome to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada! On behalf of your host committee from Club Adagio and the International Academy, I would like to extend our best wishes to you for a wonderful stay in North Vancouver and an exciting experience taking part in Millennium Cup 2005.
Each year our invited friends from near and far join us to celebrate our shared passion and love for the sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics. This year we welcome teams from Taiwan, U.S.A, New Zealand and of course from various clubs in both Canada and our home province of British Columbia. It is an exciting experience to see the variety of levels competing (from beginners to National Team Members and internationally well seasoned competitors). It presents to onlookers a dramatic view of the enormous athletic development that takes place in our sport over the years of training and it is truly awe inspiring.
Thanks to all the competitors for joining us in celebrating the beauty and excitement of our sport. Please know that your incredible talent is very much appreciated, and we thank you for sharing it with us at Millennium Cup 2005.
May all the gymnasts sparkle and shine in their own right and may all the coaches, volunteers, officials and parents feel proud of the part they continue to play in the lives and future of our young and aspiring athletes. Congratulations to all of you.
